The strategic position of phosphorus resource in national economy and the present status on resource reserves, the production & current exploitation and utilization of phosphorous resources at home and abroad are stated. The situation of production, comsumption, imports and exports of phosphate rock and phosphorous products in China are also discussed. The requirement forecasting of phosphorus resource and analysis of its guaranteeing degree, as well as measures and suggestions on protection, exploitation and utilization of phosphorus resource are proposed.
